Crews are investigating after a vehicle crashed into a business in Clearwater. The incident occurred Sunday afternoon at Gulf-to-Bay Tennis Supply Store. The store suffered quite a bit of damage, according to investigators, but no one was injured. We’ll post updates as they become available.
Teen passenger killed in crash with Tampa police vehicle

One person was killed, and another injured, when a vehicle collided with a Tampa Police vehicle.

The crash happened about 12:15 a.m. Saturday on U.S. Highway 41. The Florida Highway Patrol said Jordan Garrett, 19, died at the scene. According to authorities, a vehicle driven by Ashlyn Price, 18, was traveling southbound on U.S. 41 and failed to stop for a red traffic signal. The vehicle collided with a Tampa Police vehicle that was going through the intersection. Garrett was a passenger in Price’s vehicle. Price was taken to a hospital for treatment. The officer suffered minor injuries, according to FHP. The crash is still under investigation. Garrett’s family has started a GoFundMe.com page.
